Seven years walked by grace, a new seven years for glory Today is the 7th anniversary Sunday of Livingstone Church's planting. On September 1, 2017, our family came to Madison after five years of theological training in San Francisco to prepare for church planting. We knew no one, but Pastor Mark Hong and his wife of CCC Church, along with the congregation, welcomed us warmly and helped us settle in. After about two years of prayer and evangelism, we held our first worship service as "Livingstone" on January 6, 2019 — a small beginning where twelve chairs were enough. We held our official planting service on September 22 that year, and today, by God's grace, we celebrate our 7th anniversary. In the early days, my daughter asked, "Daddy, who comes to our church?" I answered, "Those whom the Lord sends will come." And indeed, the Lord sent people. Even through COVID, many came to know Jesus through our community, and some believed and were baptized through the 10 Step Bible study. There were hard times too — students survived a major car accident by God's protection and were restored. Time and again He sent workers, and through the prayers and support of countless churches and partners, we have come this far: 2 years at CCC, 3.5 years at Red Village, and now 2 years at Crossroads. He let us serve the community through the Korean school and built us into a community that shares the gospel through weekly campus evangelism. Looking back, it is truly 100% God's grace. By the grace of God. For the glory of God. Seven years walked by grace; a new seven years for the glory of God. This is the path Livingstone must walk. I pray we will go beyond receiving grace and become a channel of blessing that pours out the grace we received. (창세기 12:2) "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing." You are a channel of blessing." Every week in worship we confess to one another, "You are a channel of blessing." In the next seven years, I hope our blessings will flow beyond us to our neighbors, the community, mission fields, and new church plants — and that this year becomes a fresh start for serving overseas missions and domestic church planting more actively. Though small, I hope we become a church that prays for and serves other church plants. On our 14th anniversary, I pray we will see more beautiful fruit than the past seven years and give all glory to God. Seven years walked by grace, a new seven years for glory. May Livingstone Church become a channel of blessing.

Kids Choirs "Who Am I" JOY LAND & Dreamer team의 주일 특송입니다. Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth would care to know my name? Would care to feel my hurt? Who am I, that the bright and morning star would choose to light the way For my ever wandering heart? Not because of who I am But because of what you've done Not because of what I've done But because of who you are I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean (ocean) A vapor in the wind Still you hear me when I'm calling Lord, you catch me when I'm falling And you've told me who I am I am yours, I am yours Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin would look on me with love And watch me rise again Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea would call out through the rain And calm the storm in me? Not because of who I am But because of what you've done Not because of what I've done But because of who you are I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean (ocean) A vapor in the wind Still you hear me when I'm calling Lord, you catch me when I'm falling And you've told me who I am (I am) I am yours Not because of who I am But because of what you've done Not because of what I've done But because of who you are I am a flower quickly fading Here today and gone tomorrow A wave tossed in the ocean (ocean) A vapor in the wind Still you hear me when I'm calling Lord, you catch me when I'm falling And you've told me who I am (I am) I am yours I am yours I am yours Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? 'Cause I am yours I am yours
